I was born with a rare congenital myopathy that many physical therapists have never heard of before. In fact so much so that I was turned away from offices due to their fear of the unknown on how to treat me. Thankfully I was finally referred to Marlene Mireles! She took the time to evaluate not only my myopathy but the pain I have experienced for over a year after giving birth. In just a little over a month Marlene's physical therapy has helped me tremendously. I have relieved my back pain significantly. I have also gained a tremendous amount of range of motion and strength in my weaker muscles. Marlene not only researched my myopathy but has used several specific techniques specifically to adjust and advance my muscle strength. I love going to her for PT as she does not just give a few exercises and sends you on your way. She goes above and beyond her position and has gave me a greater mobile life! Highly recommend her and her amazing ability.
I highly recommend Marlene! I recently suffered a sudden "massive" herniation in my lower back and had to have surgery. I had severe restrictions post op and by the time I was scheduled with Marlene I continued to have weakness, nerve pain in my leg and limited mobility of my entire spine. Marlene was very professional in her evaluation and immediately developed a plan with multiple modalities and goes above and beyond in her treatment of my condition. Particularly effective has been the use of cupping, and manipulation of my incision/scar tissue. She is very responsive to your needs and conditions, competent and encouraging in her care. I have been able to observe her with multiple patients and medical conditions and she is very knowledgeable in her care for all issues, and is always professional. I'm very encouraged in my improvement and am hopeful that with Marlene's plan of care I will make a complete recovery!
Excellent and knowledgeable PT! Analyzes your complaint and applies techniques and treatments that readily and throughly address pain complaint. I didn’t embrace PT and sought remediation via medication with minimal results. Then I saw Mrs. Mireles and within 6 weeks of PT my pain is completely gone! Marlene is a genius in the PT field, trust her, you won’t regret it!
